Together we raised over $28,000 to support our school. We cannot thank everyone enough and we are already planning for next year. The students are all acquainted with what it means to be thankful. They are thankful for their families, and their friends and their school. But what about the times is hard to be thankful, like when you are disappointed or disaster has struck? This week the students gave examples of times when life was hard but they were still able to see god’s love for them. Please see the attached newsletter for the latest school news.
This week in school we talked a lot about our saints and our souls. We asked the Saints to pray for us as we grow and struggle and learn to be closer to Christ. Then, we prayed for all of the people who have died, especially the ones close to us. We pray for their perfect soul to be united with God.

All of the students need the reminder that they have a guide by there side to help make great decisions. They also have a guard when they need some extra help.

The school year is well underway and we are really learning a lot. The students are working very hard on following the rules, being prayerful and pushing through the challenges of hard work in the classroom. It is so important to keep reading every night and to try to reach our 20 Book Challenge. See the newsletter for all of the news and upcoming events. We are very busy!
We are so happy that it is cooler this week. We prayed the Act of Love and the Prayer to Saint Michael this week as we remembered the people who lost their lives on 9/11. Remember to read for 20 minutes every night. Studies show that this simple habit increases academic achievement greatly.
“I love these little people and it is not a slight thing when they who are fresh from God love us.” Charles Dickens
