Bless all Catholic school teachers and help them to nurture the faith of our children. Give them the wisdom to pass on their own knowledge and experience and show our children your love. Amen.
National Catholic Schools Week (CSW) is an annual celebration of Catholic education in the United States. Now entering its 47th anniversary year, CSW has traditionally been held the last week in January. During Catholic Schools Week, the students shared many experiences that brought them closer to God as they promoted the school they love.
The whole school prayed special prayers for all who serve our community and those who need the extra help of God’s presence through difficult times. Baskets of appreciation were delivered to community members who help our school. The students loved seeing the gratitude on the faces of the people who received a basket.
We celebrated the hard work of our students and reminded them of the blessings that each of them bring by being an important member of our school. We took a break from academics and watch a movie in the gym. We provided lunch for everyone and lots of snacks during the movie.
We said a special prayer for our God founded nation. We prayed for our government leaders to feel the Holy Spirit and open their hearts to the great worth of human life and human freedom. The students in kindergarten through 6th grade prayed a living Rosary for the unborn at the church.
At the end of the week, all came together to have lunch and share how blessed we feel to work with people who respect, support and pray for each other. We feel the purposeful weight of educating our students and we are so grateful to have the support from each other.
It truly was a memorable and spirit filled week. Our hearts are bursting with God’s love and we our more aware of our abundant blessings because of it. Thank you for all of your support!

Prayer For Our Nation
God our Father, Giver of life, we entrust the United States of America to Your loving care.
You are the rock on which this nation was founded.
You alone are the true source of our cherished rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Reclaim this land for Your glory and dwell among Your People.
Send Your Spirit to touch the hearts of our nation’s leaders.
Open their minds to the great worth of human life and the responsibilities that accompany human freedom.
Remind Your people that true happiness is rooted in seeking and doing Your will.
Through the intercession of Mary Immaculate, Patroness of our land, grant us the courage to protect the unborn.
Lead us into a new respect for life.
We ask this through Christ Our Lord.
